little angel, 6 days new

I’m not sure you can time a birth, newborn portraits, and a holiday as good as this! This little one’s due date was exactly one week before I was due to leave on a 2-week trip to Kenya and Tanzania! No problem, she arrived right on time and her newborn portraits were taken the day before I got on the plane to Nairobi – phew! But then I had to wait two whole weeks before I could process her images – torture!

Introducing the sweetest, most adorable little angel, Angelina…

*gasp* isn’t she ADORABLE?!!!! :-) and so teeny tiny!

I had the hardest time ever choosing which images to blog in this sneak peek! Here’s a couple more…

love her little scrunched up sleepy face!

Congratulations to the proud parents, and thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious first moments of your daughter. It was a fabulous session, and I’m so glad I was able to meet her before my trip!

Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek! :-)

Thanks everyone! Even I am coming back to my blog to take another peek, she’s so perfect! I don’t think my smile could be any wider :-) can you believe her skin was really this smooth and creamy? no blotches, scratches or flakey skin in sight!

@Sandra – these were taken in my client’s home, I have a ‘mobile studio’ :) for newborns I always prefer to travel to my client where everything the baby might need is easily to hand. I find it’s much more relaxing and comfortable for the family if the session takes place at their home, especially when the photos are taken so soon after the birth – they are always welcome to come to my home studio though :-)
