Introducing Faye, welcomed with love
I had the absolute honour and privilege to join Meg and her husband, Panos, at the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis (OLVG) in Amsterdam yesterday.
United in strength and love, they calmly embarked on their journey of labour.
It’s with great joy that I announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, born yesterday evening, Wednesday 2 October 2013, at 19:18.
Meet Faye…
She was so calm and quiet, and blissfully content to lay on her mother’s chest.
Weighing a dainty 3180 grams (7lb), she’s absolute perfection.
Just before I slipped out of the door… Faye was dressed and wrapped up warm for her first snuggle with Papa :)
Meg and Panos, many congratulations to you both. Thank you so much for inviting me to share this journey with you. Meg, you were truly phenomenal and i’m completely in awe of the way you embraced and endured the hard work of labour. It was a serene and beautiful experience that will stay with me always. I can’t wait to share your birth story slideshow with you!
With love,
~Natalie
