Christmas brings hope to the Philippines

The Giro555 fund helps to provide the people of the Philippines with their basic needs: food and medicine, and arranging shelter and clean drinking water. At 09:15 yesterday, 24 December 2013, Giro555 announced a new total of 35,311,519 Euros.

There is no doubt that all your donations have been used to help children and families in the Philippines and we encourage you to continue to donate.

Giro555 also published an article yesterday, mentioning that Christmas brings hope to the Philippines. In the article, a father is quoted as saying:

“Het ergste wat ons kan gebeuren, is dat we ons slachtoffer gaan voelen. We kunnen niet bij de pakken neerzitten. We moeten door.”
“The worst that can happen, is that we start feeling like victims. We mustn’t feel sad, we must go on.”

The spirit of never giving up is evident in the people who suffered from this great disaster.

A new project in 2014

Each year we choose a cause to support and 2014 will be no different. If there is a charity or fund you’d like us to support, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are currently accepting submissions for future projects and we look forward to sharing updates with you.
